Catalog question?

Is it possible to insert products in a catalog, and if somebody can explain to me what does RESOLVE A PART FAMILY mean, also what are the pros and cons of resolved parts?

You cannot use CATProducts in a catalog using most licenses. You have to have PKT, if I remember correctly to do this. As for "resolving" part families, that simply means that you create individual parts based on the design table data. Parts are "resolved" to a pre-defined folder. (Under Tools -> Options - Infrastructure -> Catalog Editor)
