Hellow,

I need a little help with my catalog creation.
I do not know why is that, when I add component from Catalog Browser and then I give
Save Managenent, my new addded component have State Open not New. Why is that?

If you aren't selecting an item from an unresolved part family (like the OOTB Mechanical Parts libraries) you will only create a new instance of that object in the CATProduct, not a new file. You can browse to the item, right click on it and select the 'Instantiate as New Document' option to create a new file of the object instantiated into the assembly.

I need my catalog to work like other catalogs, when I add a new component from Catalog Browser, Catia would create me a new file. How can I make it?
