CATDrawing geometry identification and merging

Hi,

I'm looking for a function in CATIA V5 that identifies the geometries on a drawing (as viewed in the attached image, an example of top view).

I want to write a macro to identify and merge the edges.

Did you checked the view properties? Maybe is something there which can help you...

I looked at properties, but I didn't find information about type (edge x non-edge).
