Can anybody please help with some information about 400kVA Caterpillar Diesel generator with Perkins motor and ECM Perkins Governor.
I didn't find this information in the technical manual and unfortunately the respons of the distributor here(Eneria) is not as should be.
I want to know the value and connection of potentiometer for analogue speed regulation. There are inputs for digital and analogue speed regulation but it is no indication about value and connection of potentiometer for analogue regulation(there are inputs for analogue control, analogue ground and +5V supply).
Thank you!

Is this definitely a Cat set and not an FG Wilson set? The Wilson gennys usually use Perkins engines, and FGW were absorbed into Cat about 8 or 9 years ago. They still operate under their own name as far as I recall - their European operation has been helpful in the past. The Irish accent can take a little understanding though!

The name on it and on the tachnical manual is Caterpillar.
Type: GEP400-2_I
Thanks!

This sounds like an FG Wilson package for CAT EAME (Europe, Africa, Middle East). The governor is actually a Woodwrd product. The USA dealers have very little info on these packages, have you tried your local CAT dealer?

If you have a serial number I may be able to help find some info.
