Hi,

How could I align the geometry of a view (let's say, an arc) with another arc from a different view?

Is this tool in the picture useful?
(I haven't ever use it).......

I don't think any of those tools will get you there. I've never tried selecting curved elements though.

(Correction, just tried it.) Picking "Align Views Using Elements" (It's on my toolbar, but not yours. I probably customized that toolbar.) and picking two arcs from two different views causes the views to be aligned according center points of two selected arcs.

You could also draw a big circle concentric to one of the arcs, then position the view contain the other arc to "eyeball" it.

Jasoncwells,

Thanks for your time; you reply is exactly what I was asking for!
I didn't have "Align Views Using Elements" on my Toolbar, but I now brought it on it from the Customize tools.
My question was not such a big deal, but I try to learn as many Catia details as possible; thanks again for your contribution to that!
