Hi, I am looking for latest downward compatibility chart with CATIA V6 R2021x and V5R31 similar to the attached.
I did contact Dassault tech support, but al they came back was this : Not know the source from where this chart is coming from (I don’t believe it came from DS), the rule of compatibility is very simple:
• As-Spec: V5-6 release matches 3DX release level … e.g. V5-6R2021 (aka V5 R31) & 3DX 6R2021x
• As-Result: V5-6 release is lower than 3DX release level … e.g. V5-6R2020 (aka V5 R30) & 3DX 6R2021x.
o These is always an option to export As-Spec to CATIA V5 level matching 3DX level.

I see and I know that they are basically a one for one but a couple years they had a range which is what I was curious about the OEM uses a bleeding edge V6 and while we can get the equal V5 it's not compatible with out TC

I'm using 3DX 2021x cloud. For As Result you have the option down to v5r18.
