CATIA Drawing - Drafting View Menu deactivated?

Hello all,

I wish to know how can I get back to activate the View Toolbar wich suddenly became deactivated in my drafting mode for a drawing in CATIA V5R16.

I was doing some drawings pretty OK, and then I can't any more views because this toolbar went grey and deactivated. How can I restore this?

Is the part/product actually opened up in '3D space'? If the part/product isn't up and loaded/updated.... Doing anything in 2D can be impossible... Just my 0.02...

You should also check to see whether you switched into the drawing background. Depending on environment settings, the sheet background may or may not change color to indicate editing the fore- or background.

To check, go to Edit> and the bottom command will read "Sheet Background" if you are in main sheet, or "Working Views" if you are in background.

Another guess...

I don't know if you can create generative view in Detail sheet. May be a Detail sheet is active.

Create a new sheet (not a detail one) and see if this help.
