Hi,

I do not have much experience with GSD...……
How could I cut the number 4 inside (using the three white lines)?
What operation should I use for that?

Thanks!

From the picture is seems the 3 whites lines might be in a sketch.
If this is the case and only those 3 lines are in the sketch, then you can CUT the surface with the sketch and select the inside/ outside to get the proper side as the result of the cut.

Thanks, Itsmyjob

No, it is not a sketch, but your guess is useful…..
So, what would you suggest in this case?

P.S. By the way.....how to cut with the sketch? What tools should be used for that? Again, I do not much about GSD....

the actual name of the function is SPLIT not CUT

the 3 lines are a JOIN if not a sketch or at least they are one element in the spec tree.

SPLIT the surface with that element

if that element is more than the 3 line then EXTRACT the 3 lines (point propagation), then SPLIT.

seeing the spec tree usually help...
