CATIA KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS 6

[CAD2015]

I've found out (unintentionally) about Catia browsing the open files (CTRL+TAB).
Does anybody know other similar shortcuts?

While hovering over an ambiguous selection clicking the up/down arrows will cycle through the possible entities you may be trying to select.

Aside from that I have setup some hot keys:
Hide/Show: Space Bar
Constraint (in sketch): End key, Also mapped to an extra button on my mouse
Fit All: Home key

Ctrl + u will do an Update

ESC twice will interupt most commands

That is detailed list of shortcuts ferdo. Adding to that you can create your on shortcuts also in catia.

customize ---> Commands(tab) --> select the Categories --> Commands --> show properties --> give the required key in accelerator feild --> close.

I just learned about ALT + ENTER as a shortcut to Properties, thanks to David Summerscales on COE.org

(it's also on the FAQ list)

My most favorite one is to program ALT + ENTER to one of the extra buttons on my mouse.

While it is not a keystroke combination shortcut, I do like using the Power Input box to quickly find and select things.
For example "n:Rosemount" will find any Rosemount instance in an assembly.

I agree that the Power Input box is handy - my favorite is c: force update to refresh drawings

you can do that in your mouse driver program (maybe not all mouse driver are equal) , not in catia.
