I am brand new to both the Catia world and this forum, so please be patient with me. I have taken basic Catia and maufacturing training just in the last couple of months. So when I found this forum, I find it very informative. Anyways, my question is about the drilling cycle in Catia manufacturing. If I need to drill a pattern of holes down in a series of pockets (all the same depth), I set the jump distance to come out of the pocket, before proceeding to the next pocket. I would like to have the NC code rapid to the safety plane (ex. .8" above part), then start the G98 cycle with a R-plane .1" above the hole (ex, .9" below top of part) in the pocket, then retract to .8" (safty plane) between each hole. I have tried playing around with the approach, clearance, and linking macros with no success. On the toolreplay it looks right, but Catia seems to kick out the initial rapid point correctly, but adds a single rapid point after at the .9" below the top of the part location, then it picks up the cycle. But in reality it would crash into the side of my pocket between holes. It might possibly be a post-processor problem, but it seems Catia is kicking out this extra point when I look at the APT file. Any help would be muchly appreciated. Thanks.

The machine is a Matsuura V-Plus 1000 with a Yasnac G-Tech 30I controller. I am using Cam-Post from ICAM to generate and fine tune my post processor.
