CATIA parametric coupling with Matlab 1

Hello everyone, a brief search did not turn out any discussions about the question I'm asking. I'm more familiar with NX so my question is framed from an NX perspective -- please bear with me.

I would like to couple CATIA with Matlab/Simulink in such a way that the latter would pass parametric data that would be used in CATIA to generate a solid model from fully-constrained cross section sketch(es) or parameterized surface(es). Simple example: Matlab would pass the radius of a sphere as a parametric variable to a CATPART, which would then generate that sphere.

After this, I would like to be able to mesh the resulting body for downstream CAE analysis. All these would be as automated as possible.

Is this possible?

Many thanks in advance.

CATIA can import your results as parameters. I have a CATScript which create spheres in points with a specific radius but for sure it can be modified to do what you want.

Can you upload an example file? Anyway, I will upload later an example how to "link" CATIA parameters (dimensions of a simple box) and EXCEL.
