Catia product configuration

Dear all!

Can anyone help me how to create configuration at catia v5? At solidworks it is easy to make derived configs, but at catia i don't know how to. I know DMU kinematics but its not the best. I want to set products at specified configurations in products at higher level.

what do u mean by configuration ? Do u mean grouping ?

he's referring to parts driven by an intelligent table or ones that fit certain criteria. To match what SolidWorks you need to use what they call in CATIA
Knowledge. It contains all the necessary tools. not as elegant as SWX but it still does the same thing.
