Hi,
I am very new to catia and have just started using it a week ago.
I want to rotate my aircraft body, which is already fully assembled and all, using different roll(x), pitch (y) and yaw (z) angles. For that I am using the command called "Transform and Rotate". But when I am using the command it's rotating the whole aircraft about the origin, (aircraft origin at the nose, FS-0, BL-0 and WL-0) and not about the Center of Gravity point. I tried to play with it but couldn't get it to work.
Is there anyway I can rotate my aircraft body with different x,y,z angles about the Center of gravity point and not the pre-set origin? I already have the coordinates for COG.

I hope I explained my question in the best possible way.

I hope you're not rotating the actual geometry. That's what all the Transform operations do.

To answer your question, the Rotate command requires an axis of rotation as an input. So, you want to select the approprate X, Y, or Z axis at your COG when you do the Rotate.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do - maybe you just want to view the aircraft at a particular rotation? I would suggest inserting your aircraft into a new product, and then use the Compass Manipulator tool to rotate the aircraft.
