Hey all, I'm a new poster, 3rd year mech eng undergraduate.
Apologies if this has been asked before, but I didn't come across anything as a result of a quick Google search.

I'd like to swap out HDD for an SSD, and transfer everything to the new drive by way of cloning in OS X Disk Utility.
The HDD in question has a valid Catia nodelock license on its Windows partition.

Will the clone change my target ID? It's no loss for me, aside from time.
I can get a new license, but will have to wait until Christmas for demand to decrease, so I'm not left out in the open for a month.

Out of curiosity, what variables are considered when generating a target ID?

Thanks!
Arien

The target ID is derived from your network card. If you cloned your HDD for the SSD all the config should be the same.
