Hi,

I would like to know how can I export the mesh made with GPS inside Catia V5 as a Nastran bdf input file?

I found that there is a product named GPN which belongs to the MSC.visualNastran and it complements CATIA V5 Analysis. But, we don't have this product. We have Catia V5 and MSC.Patran & MSC.Nastran. For more info, check
I remember that we could do this task with Catia V4. Please let me know if you have any experience in this regard.

Thanks,
A.A.Y.

I'm not hundred but I think you need the FMS for the export/import and 3rd party software for the nastran bulk files, LMS or MSC.

Anybody else that have something to chip in with?

Yes, you need FMS. Look to see if you have access to the Advanced Meshing tools (Catia V5 Start - Analysis & Simulation). It can export Catia V5 mesh only. No loads, no forces, no BC or anything else. Only, nodes and elements. You need another liscence to be able to export the rest.
