Catia V5R16, how to save as 3dxml v3 or v4?

I need to save from Catia V5R16 as 3dxml v3 or v4.
My problem is that the 3dxml files are saved as v2.

I would like to use GLC player to see 3dxml files, but this program can open only 3dxml V3 or V4.
The 3dxml viewer from Ds is not good for me, due to the fact I don't have any option to create a section cut.

Or maybe I could convert from 3dxml v2 to v3/v4? does anyone knows a method?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi,

Is it possible to upload a zip file with a sample 3dxml saved by your CATIA release and also the source files (native CATIA files) ? I would like to compare 3dxml files done by different CATIA releases.

I believe 3dxml files versions are saved in different formats by different CATIA releases....so, this could be a way of work for you.

I could provide the 3Dxml (sample) file during the next week.
Unfortunately, I can not provide the native files. The native files are made in Catia V4 and opened from VPM (Airbus).I cannot save them.

OK, no problem. But probably this is how you can handle, open model in a later CATIA release (like r21) and save as 3dxml file.
