What do you mean ? How to create in CATIA for digital mock-up purposes ? Or how to design effectively something like this ( see this , for example ) ?

You've got to the point, Ferdo!.......
I am interested in learning of the best way to create the frames of the scaffold.
I have the feeling that these frames could be created in different ways.
I'd like to know all your personal preferences related to this matter.

Structure Design could help but i don't know if the cost of the license will pass the business case...

any idea how much is the licence?
SD would be perfect yes, but simpler tasks could also be accomplished with ordinary skeleton + power copies. you won't get automatic BOM for example and correct profile trimming.
