Catia V6 2009 x64bit Windows Vista INSTALLATION

I have installed Catia V6 2009 x64bit version for Windows Vista x64bit.

The installation was successful, however when starting up a new part or opening a file the display remains blank. I can see toolbars and icons but no geometry, workplane, etc.

I am running a windows Vista Ultimate x64bit with a NVidia GeForce GTX 295 processor.

Can anyone please help?

How did you manage to get Catia V6?

I tried to find a small to medium sized business solution through my reseller, and was told that it does not yet exist for such customers. (i.e. - they had nothing to sell in a platform that was affordable for our business)
