I have heard that V6R1 is expected in year 2008-2009.
Can you confirm that ?

While I do not want to get into a debate that's going on here and take anyone's side, I'd like to point out he DID say the link was a _German_ forum.... essentially, it's not his fault you don't understand German, nor is Eng-tips free of German speaking popullation... Personally, I wouldn't boast not speaking one of the most widespread European languages.

That said, any indication of when is Fluent for Catia coming out? Will it be an addable module, or is it coming with new full versions of Catia? I can't wait for this, present Fluent visualisations are horrible, and mesh import / export / edit is SUCH a pain...

rates. FYI - I have asked many companies for hourly
rates (in the same way ! How would you ask XXXXX
company for hourly rates ?).

company for hourly rates ?).

I don't go around asking others what they charge. I take the time to actually find out what I need to make to pay myself, and the bills. (and still be able to make a profit)

You are as unprofessional as they come. (as well as a troll) Real businesspeople don't do this. They use a business model to determine pricing. Thank God there's a method for weeding people out who behave as you do. On the pricing end, you may be fine - but you can't fake marketing. I'd be interested to know how you go after new clients. (please don't bother to post that)

So now that we've got the "false pretense" issue out of the way, what version of Catia V5 are you using? How long have you been using it?

We use CATIA v5, and other CAD/CAM software (UG NX3, PRO/E WF 2.0, SW 2006)
and we have two seats with CAE software (Ansys and MSC. Nastran/Patran).
I have been working with V5 since 2002 (V5R7).
We use few realeses of V5 due to clients requirments.
We have got R10, R12, R15. We are moving from V5R15 to
V5R16 soon.

I don't know exactly what versions we have got. Because
I work mostly with PRO/Engineer WildFire 2.0.
Not in a CATIA team. Company - I work for - had
received R16 from 3DS, but they haven't insta;;ed it.

I have written:
"I have been working with V5 since 2002 (V5R7)."
...but - but on studies and in another company. We use CATIA at my school.
