Catia V6 PKM Express Installation

I am planning to buy 10 licenses of CATIA V6 PLM Express Academia for my university.
I am wondering how hard the installation is. The OS is windows server 2008.
Could the installation be done by someone who is not an IT expert? I was warned by a friend of mine that this installation needs an IT expert who is knowledgeable in MQL (Matrix One DB scripting language). However, what I need is a very basic configuration for the licences. The question is:
Shall I buy it and try to download it by myself? Note that I am a mechanical engineer. Please advice.

Two months ago I made an installation and it was very straight forward. A tip is to install the documentation first because there is an area dedicated for installation and configuration, to be honest setting up the SQL server took more time because the DB had to be set with certain parameters.. but that is clearly described in the documentation, installing the server is more or less of the type next,next,next. I'm no IT expert but not a beginner with computers either.
