Catia V6

has anyone installed and has worked with it?? It appears to be very different from a GUI standpoint. Thoughts?

I was at the ECF, and actually the GUI in Catia is not that different. The biggest difference from what I understood is that you have to work with a database. You can't have catia only with "windows" files (there was no "file" tree in the interface, so no "file - save", or "file - open").

Yeah, I'm not really sure I understand that... Could you explain it???

from what little i've seen of it, looks similar to how GM is setup with I-MAN and UG. You don't work local at all.
