Catia - View Mode Customization dialog box management 1

Hi,

Please, have a look at the picture below:

The picture in the left shows the grey component as part of an assembly and on the right, the same component as a single CATPart file.
Is it possible to get (only) on the grey component in assembly the same visualization effect as the other one in the right (Shading with Edges and Hidden Edges)?...….
As a general question: Could a component in a Product have different View Mode than the other components?

A view mode is applied to the entire active window as far as I know.
