Does the Building Code allow the use of adhesive sealant instead of mechanical fasteners to attache the wall base to floor structure?
I am trying to find an approved adhesive sealant to use it for attaching the base track to stone tile floor.
I cannot use any penetration in to stone tile.
The top of wall is connected to drop ceiling. Wall is 10 foot tall, 20GA studs, drywall on both sides, and is inside a shopping center tenant space.
Is there a workaround for my situation?
