Can someone please tell me whether Carpenter's CCW alloy performs closer to Haynes Ultimet alloy or Stellite 6B? Its chemical composition is nearly identical to Ultimet, except for the fact that the tungsten content is what 6B has and there is a significant tantalum (though no columbium) content. The carbon content is also about twice as much as Ultimet. Is there any corrosion or wear data available on the CCW alloy?
