I have several Motorola Li-ion batteries that work just fine around my home. I was wondering if it is possible to run some devices like my portable radio and/or a remote controlled car using these old batteries? I grabed a multimeter and found the pos and neg pins on the battery, hooked a resistor and led to the battery and it will light. If my RC battery is the same voltage and about the same amperage, shouldnt it be OK for me to swap them? The battery that I am using can be found if you do a search on Amazon for "motorola battery".
Any advice on this idea would be greatly appreciated, because I have never played with LI-ion batteries before...
