Hello,

When apply an angle to the root incident and washout of a wing, where is the center of rotation taken about? The mac, the center of gravity of the wing, x coordinate of the max thickness of the chord?

Thanks

Strictly speaking it doesn't matter where, all points in the plane rotate by the same angle.

Practically of course it sort of matters, if you take the mid point of the chord then the spar will gain or lose non linear dihedral as you add washout.

Cheers
