Hi, does anyone know the code for a centreline symbol, i.e. overlapping C & L. I've searched the web but nothing seems to work. Just to clarify, I'm looking for the ALT xxxx code that will work in Catia. The nearest I've found is Alt 0162, but that seems to be lower case. I hope someone here will have the answer. Cheers!

For anyone who doesn't know any codes, here are some useful ones....
Alt 0216 = Ø
Alt 0177 = ±
Alt 0176 = °
Alt 0188 = ¼
Alt 0189 = ½
Alt 0190 = ¾

To the best of my knowledge Centerline symbol is not included into standard codes:

However, you may be able to install specialized font containing drafting symbols. This may create problem for people trying to open your file on the computers without that font installed though.

As far as I know the overlapped CL is not in current drafting standards ASME or ISO so is quite likely not supported by CAD fonts.

(Thanks for the codes - we had a list like that at a former employer and it was always handy.)

FWIW, Pro/Engineer has a CL symbol in it's internal symbols font but that won't do you any good in Catia. We have a special font we use for putting geometric tolerances in Word or Excel files. It has both a CL and PL symbol. The font is called CyberMetricsGDT. We bought a site license decades ago. Looks like a newer version is available:
