CENTRIFUGAL PUMP DRY RUN

Hi Guys,

I have a centrifugal pump model Fybroc 1500 as in photo for an ROV.
How long can i run it dry due to we have no pool to test the equipment.

As long as it takes for the bearings and/or seals to overheat. In the manufacturer's IOM manual, it most likely states "DO NOT RUN PUMP DRY".

the bearing and seal are now contained in a oiled housing. i get what you mean. thanks.
