Ceramic coating for shaft sleeve

Dear All Experts,

I am looking for a coating material that will bond to shaft carbon steel to create a coating that will be very resistant to abrasion and corrosion.
diameter Shaft 500 mm, operated at speed 480 rpm, pressure 0.4 bar
Service fluid are urea particle about grit size particle 1000 mesh dan 2000 mesh, temperatur 40 degC
Does anyone have any suggestions?

We can make suggestions for materials, but don't forget that there will also be a raft of application, qualification and quality control details to tie down. If you are the end user, have you approached the rotating equipment supplier for their experience and recommendations?

We used to use inlay of HVOF applied ceramic for bearing surfaces.
There are a number of different ceramic compositions available.
These coating will be slightly porous so corrosion under them is likely.
One way to fight this is to first apply a thin layer of a Ni alloy, and then the ceramic.
Search for HVOF coating people in your area.

Why did you not consider 17/4 PH material for the shaft sleeves? Powder coating of ceramics is available from various reputed manufacturers.
