I believe most of the time the best thing to do is recover the CFC and resell it to someone else. That saves money for everyone and you are not trying to burn the stuff.

CFC destroy the ozone layer and are illegal for sale in most places in the world!

CFC have to be either destroyed or stored. The last one will not be deemed acceptable for a long period of time.

Ok if it is so horrible maybe you want to give it to me.
What is it exactly? How much? You pay the shipping!
This is a great deal.

I believe the people usually participating in this board know what a CFC is and what its used for. Your wiki reference is not needed and rather condescending.

Your vagueness around what you are trying is rather suspicious. My original thought was you were trying to remove this from a process stream in a manufacturing facility as a productive function of your job. Now I'm beginning to think you are trying to figure out how to eliminate CFC using facilities.

Sorry no help from me.

Ash9144,

I do not mean to be condesceding at all.. Sorry if I was.

My question was clear. "Other than burning CFC what are other ways of eliminating them?" I am usually right to the point and clear in the least amount of words LOL.

when I saw answers that did not apply, I thought it would be useful for me to clarify my point :)

Cheers
