Hi,
I'm modelling atmospheric flows through a large domain with a rectangle in the middle of the base representing a forest canopy.
I would like to create a uniform inflation layer over the entire base of the domain in order to model boundary layer development effectively. However CFX mesh seems to have trouble with this and tapers the inflation layer down to zero as it approaches the discontinuity created by the canopy rectangle.
Can anyone advise how to get around this?
Thanks in advance
Tom
