I need to select multiple lines...Is there a chain command that will select all the lines that are linked together?? i.e. In UniGraphics... Chain > Select Line > End Chain and all lines are selected. Anyone know anything about that?? Thank you in advance

chaining must not only be able to be done in sketch mode. Isn't there a way to do it in regular model of drafting space??

hmm, not seeing that option anywhere within the join function. I am using V5R17 if it makes a difference.

Ryan,

pick the 1st segment, hit Join, right-click in the "Elements to Join" field and select "Distance Propagation". If it fails, increase the default 0.001 mm merging distance to a convenient value.

Uhh, sorry, nother question on same subject. I notice this works in model space, but there is no join command in drafting. When I do this in model space and I make my chained line dashed, how do I get the dashed lines to come through on my drawing view?? When I bring in the view, they just come in as solid lines...Thanks again.

So is there a way to bring dashed lines through to the drawing?? Or is there a way to chain lines in drafting? thanks
