The company that I am at has a special symbol that they use for the chamfers on the drawings.
I was able to create a user defined symbol of it without any problems.
When I add this symbol to the chamfer dimension. It is very small. I added it in the annotation menu, under the "dimension" tab - the symbol is used in place of what would be the "C" in the chamfer dimension.
The symbol looks fine as a standalone, or in annotation, but it only shows up very small in the chamfer dimension.

Is there a way that I can show the symbol larger in the chamfer dimension?

I really don't like that I need to do something like this, but there is really no way around it right now.

I have attached a sample drawing with a chamfer dimension on it.
The dimension on the bottom is what I tried to use, but because of the gaps at the bottom, it is not acceptable.
The dimension on top is what it looks like when I add the chamfer symbol to it.
The part is in NX6.
Thank you for looking at the unique problem that I have.

I've given this a second thought and I think I have a solution.

As a test, before you create your first Chamfer Dimension, go to...

Preferences -> Annotation - Dimensions

...and in the Chamfer section set up your desired options and where it asks for the 'Prefix Symbol', replace the 'C' with '$8' and set the 'Space' to be something like 0.2500.

Now create your Chamfer Dimension. Is this what you're looking for?

Thank you so much!
I needed to change the aspect ratio of it so I prefaced the $8 with <Y1.5> and it looks perfect.
