I´m a user of NX5. I have a doute from this program that I have been looking for the solution on your forum for a long time. My problem is I would like to change the arrangement of a view after placing it on my drawing. As far as I have seen on your forum, that is impossible but, when you go to "style of view", "base", you have some options that aren´t allow to select. Is it possible to change this condition?. (my software is in spanish, sorry by the wrong translation of the vocabulary).

Thanks in advance for your attention.

That is not supported. You must remove the original and create a new one using a different Arrangement.

For John,
it's time to resolve this absurd limitation. This forum has lot of this request by different users.

Thank you...

Using NX 8 and TC9.1

Like I haven't already pointed that out to the Drafting Product Manager on more than one occasion?

Please fix this. It's really annoing to have to create the view a second time. Often it's a lot of work.

this does seem to be a common problem, that is very annoying, especially when having lots of difference arrangements of an assembly when constructing tolerance build-ups during difference scenorios of an assembly.

Also, If you use the "get info" function to identify what arrangement a view is looking at, it will not show any imformation for the default arrangment. If you change the default arrangement, it will then show the name. Again, this can be quite confusing when constructing tolerance builds.
