A little more info, perhaps? It appears that power comes in on the large blue and brown wires? But from there it is unclear what does what as the zoom is too tight and wires are coming and going every which way. It is single phase, right? Is it European?

From the terminal block it looks like a three phase dual voltage motor. Except it looks like it is being run on single phase with a capacitor feeding center terminal. If it is I would move the left capacitor wire to the right terminal. But as said before it is nearly impossible to tell what is happening from that photo.

There aren't enough wires coming from the stator to be three phase - I count four: red, blue, black, green. The smaller brown and blue wires going out of shot are almost certainly connections to a capacitor.

A sketch of the wiring including any external capacitor and/or a photo of the nameplate would help immensely. Failing that, there should be two pairs of wires connecting to two windings emerging from the windings - identify the pairs using a multimeter. Assuming it works correctly at the moment, I would expect that the pairs are either black/green & red/blue or red/green & black/blue. Swap the ends of one pair keeping all other connections unchanged.

Thanks ScottyUK.
You got it in one. I have red and blue wires at one side and green and black at the opposite side all going to the to the windings. Do I have to change one pair over for example the red where the blue was and the blue where the red was. Then leave the rest alone.

Cheers.

Chris

If you have indeed identified the two pairs of coil wires, reversing either coil pairs will reverse the motor.
