Hi,
I created a drawings with an ISO view with annotation and dimension.
Now, for better understanding I need to create a little exploded view.
If I go in the model of the specification and I create a exploded view with saving, can I edit the ISO view and select the exploded view ?

Thank you...

You will have to create the 'exploded view' in the same file where the drawing exisits as you can NOT bring an exploded view in from the model file.

Sorry John, I don't understand.
I created the 'exploded view' in the same file where the drawing exisits, but when I edit the ISO view I can't able to reassign other view.
Maybe you tell me that it's not possible when you write '....
you can NOT bring an exploded view in from the model file'.

My English is basic.

Thank you...

I was referring to a situation where you are working in Master Model mode, that is the Assembly is added to the Drawing file as a Component. In that case, even if you had already created an exploded view in the Assembly file, it will not be accessible for adding to the Drawing. You will need to turn off the Drawing and create a NEW exploded view in the Drawing file, then turn the Drawing back on and then you will be able to add this NEW view to the Drawing.

John,
I'm in the Master Model mode.
I have an exploded view in the assembly with turn off the Drawing.
When I turn on turn the Drawing and I add a new view I can select my exploded view, but I'm asking if it's possible to edit a before ISO view, reselcting the exploded view.
I add a lot of annotation and dimension, I don't would like to delete it.

Thank you...

If I understand correctly, the question is "Can I edit an existing ISO view to be an exploded view?"

If that is indeed the question, the answer is "No".

Cowski is correct. If you've created an exploded view in the Master Model drawing file, you can add that view to the Drawing sheet, but there's NO way to 'edit' an existing view to be an 'exploded' view.

Thank you for the patience.
I understand now.
