We receive a fair amount of AutoCad drawings from outside sources that we would like to use for xref's. However, the fonts are all over the map and we would like to be able to change the fonts to our company's standard, but we'd like to be able to do it with as much ease as possible. Is there a way to change ALL the text of one style to another style, without having to change each piece of text individually? We are using Architectural Desktop 2004 and will be changing to ABS2007 within the month.

Thank you.

Hi,

select the text, mtext with "_qselect".
Maybe you would find a lisp.

Thank you, Lothar, but I must be doing something wrong, because it is not working.

Actually, the "select" is working, but now I can't figure out how to change the text style. Working on coming up with a lisp.

The problem is trying to edit the text without the dialog box coming up and I can't figure out how to edit text from the command line.

You should be able to edit the style of the text/mtext in the properties dialog box (Ctrl+1) after you have selected them; if you select ALL, you can edit just the text/mtext with the selection type drop down at the top of the dialog box.
