Can someone please help me change my dimension colors and my sketch entities back to black and gray. This problem is only in drawings. The dimensions have turned to red and the sketch entities are now dark red. This all happened after I used the task scheduler to try to predefine some drawing views in order to automate drawing creation. These changes are in new drawings as well as ones that were already drawn in the prefered color black. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Creech,
Did you try the "Tools" "Options" "Colors" Dimensions? There's about 5 options in there for dimension colors.

I hope this helps,

macduff

Yes I tryed. The option they give do not change the colors of the dimensions themselves of the sketches.

Sounds like your Sketches are over defined. Edit the sketches and check the relationships on your relations to see if they are over defined.

I think Scott's right. Something is over defined. Did you insert your dimensions as model items or did you dimension the views manually?

Thats the problem, these sketches are drawn in the context of a drawing. Like reference sketches (center line). They're looking like overdefined but they're not

I open a New Drawing, then sketch some lines or arcs or anything and they're dark red.
I also drew a part with no relationships or dimensions, made a drawing out of it and dimensioned it and wala! red dimensions

Try doing a System restore to a point before you used the Task scheduler.

If that does not work ... try doing a SW repair ... check the FAQ section for helpful tips on repairing.

Good luck.
