is it possable to go back into a sketch and change a projected edge, from a single spline to orignal lines.
then add constraints to lines/arcs.

Reason: splines can not be dimensioned in drafting.

Thanks

UG is horrible for projected curves. Even if you take an edge that should turn into a real arc when projected will become a spline if it's face is not parallel to your curent sketch or projected plane. For instance if You create a cylinder and cut it from the side with a trapezoidal section and project the edge of the angled faces to a plane parallel to the Circle used to create the cylinder, you will not get a circle in your projection. The only way I've seen to get a circle is to create an intersection curve using a plane that will create a circle when intersecting the surface the edge belongs to with a plane that passes through itnormal to it's axis.

I think you can select what kind of curve is created only at the time of projection. I know from an email I saw on improvements to projected curves in NX3 the functionality is a lot better. I think you now have the ability to offset a curve while projecting to a sketch with out have to extract the original curve first.
