Changing/Accessing Primary Value on extrusions

Hey all,

I'm trying to do an optimisation analysis in ANSYS with a Solidworks geometry. To get ANSYS to recognise the dimension as a parametric I have to preface the primary value with DS (or whatever I set it to) which isn't a problem in sketches and whatnot, however I cannot seem to change the primary value name of an extrusion.

(in the picture I need to rename the TXD1@Scheme2 to DS_beam_thickness@Scheme2)

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot reproduce that problem. It may be a problem only on your computer.
Can you post the part for review?

Create a sketch in a plane perpendicular to the one containing your extrusion sketch. Draw a line to the point where you want the extrusion to end. Dimension it as needed. Then define your extrusion using "Up to Vertex" instead of "Blind". Select the endpoint of the line in the other sketch as the vertex. Your extrusion will go to that point. You can name the dimension in that additional sketch whatever you want.

Check to make sure that the dimension is not being used by or being set by a equation
