I'm using 2000i, soon to be on 2004 or 5. We use iMAN, a unigraphics software to store drawings. The group that programs the software wants to use the information that is gathered during the release process and place it in the attributes in AutoCAD. I was able to find a program that does this called Block Attribute Modifier (BAM). The only problem is it needs to be in a text format or an .exe file that will handle the changes.
Any help would be much appreciated

I am not aware of any program that modifies closed drawing attributes. I can use the API's from Autodesk to see the values of a closed drawings attributes, but I have always found that you needed to use AutoCAD itself to make changes and save a dwg file.
