Is there any way to change the default dimension/ measuring precision in solidworks 2003 sp4? I get tired of always having to change things. I think in 4 places, can't stand to only see 2 places most times.....

Under "Tools --> Options --> Document Properties --> Dimensions" there is a button for precision. Change this setting in your template file.

You can change your default template file under "Tools --> Options --> System Options --> Default Templates". Change a new file to the way you like, then "Save As"a part template (*.prtdot).

To make a new directory folder of file templates available, change the setting under "Tools --> Options --> System Options --> File Locations --> Document Templates"
