I've searched and could not find the answer to this so I am turning to you guys with this question: How do you change the icon that is displayed in an assembly of a part that was originally made from a toolbox part? TB parts show up in an assembly with the "bolt" icon. That is fine when the part remains a TB part. However, when we modify a TB part and save it to a different directory we want its icon to be the familiar "Tetris block". The attached images show the part that was made from a TB standard shape of a structural angle and how it shows up with the bolt icon in the assembly.

Thanks in advance,

I'm not sure this can be done. I have tried making a copy, deleting features and ref, etc.
Some how the link to the library needs to be broken.

Eric,

A star for you. Your link and the ones it lead to got me to the utility. The utility itslef is a bit vague on how to use it. It does not work on the files if they are open, but it was simple enough to try a couple of things to get it right.

Thanks again!!
