Changing temporary directories in COSMOS

I just found thread1183-179868 which mentions that the error message and subsequent crash I'm experiencing in COSMOS is due to not having write access to the temporary folders COSMOS is trying to use.

Could anybody tell me how to change the paths of these temporary folders so that I can stop the program crashing?

Any assistance greatly appreciated,

It's COSMOSDesignSTAR 2007

I am on DesignStar 4.5. In there you can change the default temp file folder in Tools/Options/General tab. I would not expect they changed that much over the years.
