CHECKERED PLATE Specification

I am doing a review of some checkered plate drawings & I am wondering if their is something like a PIP specification for checkered plates? I am aware of PIP STE05530 Grating Design Guide & PIP STF05530 Grating Fabrication Details. However, it seems that these specs do not really apply to CHECKERED PLATES.

Is anyone aware of any technical guide for checkered plates.

Comments/suggestions are appreciated.

My points ,

-AFAIK, Process Industry Practices (PIP) does not have any specification for checkered plate platforms ..Although there is a Grating design guide PIP STE05530,
- I checked my past documents and looked to the old spreadsheets . The common practice is to follow the procedures and guidelines of the AISC 9th Edition Allowable Stress (ASD) Manual, and the "Floor Plate Bending Capacity" Tables.
- The applicable formulas could be taken from "Formulas for Stress and Strain", by Raymond J. Roark, for rectangular flat plates subjected to uniform pressure, and the formulas given in "Design of Welded Structures" by Omer W. Blodgett .
