Checking duplicated/coincident elements with same property.

Hello!

I have an issue and I don't have the proper skills to solve it. I would appreciate any help.

I working in a very large model and I found some duplicated elements sharing the same property. I am not really sure if I found all the discrepancies.

So, is there a API or a femap tool that could make this job of checking the entire model looking for duplicated elements sharing the same property?

there's a standard check for coincident elements, which should do what you want, with alittle effort ...

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

Hi

One option would be to group the elements based on property and the check coincident elements within each group. The effort will depend on how many properties you have.

But I don't know of any existing API meeting your specific requirement.

RafaMoraes, how did you solve your problem? Did you use Tools > Check > Coincident Elements? Or did you use a custom API?
