Hi,
I am wondering what technique(s) can be used to test if a penetrating silane sealer has been applied to a concrete surface. I am working on a bridge project where the contractor is claiming that they applied a penetrating silane sealer to the abutment and pier bearing seats. We suspect the sealer was not applied to the piers But since the sealer is clear, it is difficult to tell visually if the material has actually been applied. What else can we do to check the application?
