In the input file, abaqus defines node numbers starting from 0 for each part. This is fine. I would like to know how I can check the global element and node numbers defined by abaqus when post processing. I need to check my subroutine is referring to the correct nodes and elements.

I would really appreciate you help.

Thanks.

Hello,

how I can check the global element and node numbers defined by abaqus when post processing
I belive there is no such option to check it in Abaqus/Viewer.
I think the reference between local and global ids are not save after end of an analysis.
However I am not sure fo 100%.

I need to check my subroutine is referring to the correct nodes and elements.
I think as long you are using GETPARTINFO and GETINTERNAL in your subroutine there is nothing to worry.

Bartosz
