Hi guys. I am studying the impact of condensate coloration due to the presence of gum on process equipment, with a view to providing a lasting solution for affected plants. This is because the condensate is spiked into the gas stream and transported to the gas processing facility where the discolored gas reduces its price.
1. Does anyone have similar experience anywhere world wide? If yes, what solutions did you apply?
2. What is the chemical composition of the gum? I ask this with a view to checking if it can be cracked and reformed into other hydrocarbons that are more useful.
Thanks
