Hi all,
I'm looking for chemical resistance information for Perspex.
Working condition I have to inquire is for water and NaOH 5% at temperature up to 60 °C

Thank you very much on advance.

Hi Shmulik,

A search on Google for "PMMA chemical resistance" gave over 39,000 hits - should be something there for you.

If not, try one of the many manufacturers.

If you need a transparent thermoplastic with good chemical resistance then I suggest you try SAN instead of Perspex (tradename for PMMA). SAN varies in chemical resistance and grades with higher acrylonitrile content are better in this regard. The manufacturers can advise you on that.
